Welcome to Lake View Ridge, a typical small town somewhere in the Mid West. Early immigrants found the scenery to pretty to pack up and leave so they stayed. The large variety of trees around the area made it easy to build their homes and the climate enabled a decent planting season for them to grow sufficient food. A few descendants still call Lake View Ridge home. Most moved away as bigger towns grew and offered good paying jobs in factories. While there are some very old buildings they are a rarity in the 21st century. There are a few mid century residential neighborhoods and newer apartment complexes. There are lots of smaller businesses, a friendly town mayor and bustling municipal district. A little drive outside of the town and you'll find a working rodeo with museum and rancher's cabins. There is a drive in movie theater, bowling alley, camping ground, ski resort, military base, airport, trading post and much more.

On arrival in Lake View Ridge your first stop is at one of the realtors. Pick up the keys and map to your new home. Check the parking lot on the way out for your vehicle and don't forget to grab some food on the way home, the fridge is empty.

Enjoy your daily life as you settle in, make friends, go to work, hang out at one of the local clubs, bars or eateries. Check out the drive in movie theater and see what movie is playing, check out one of the hiking trails, practice your Ollies and nose grabs at the skatepark. Just remember there is an apocalypse approaching.

This video game gives you a little time to prep before the world as we know ends. Use this time wisely, get your to do list items checked off so you stand a good chance of surviving. Play alone and test your mettle. Become a member of the prepper community for support. Play with a small group of friends and hope that your group has what it takes.
